Stockman Living Update December 2022

As the year winds down the team at Stockman are charging ahead making formidable progress with a number of critical completions to report on to date.

Stage 1A & 1B

Earthworks are 95% complete, with Gully 1 and 1B fully filled. Stage 1A sees the majority of roading finished, all drainage complete and 50% of services (water, power and Telecom) near completion. Retaining walls are 100% finished, whilst Stage 1B sees 50% of retaining walls completed.

Concrete vehicle crossings and footpaths in Stage 1A are 35% completed. Stage 1 drainage of the wetland ponds are completed, and all lots are top-soiled and finished.

Roads 1 and 5 curbing will be signed off before Christmas, and following the New Year base course and asphalt will be laid.

Stage 2A & 2B

Strong progress continues with Stage 2A Earthworks well underway. Civil works are nearing completion and drainage will begin at the start of March, 2023. The Northern border will see the wetlands created while the border pond is being constructed now in preparation for the upcoming bulk Earthworks next year.

Stage 2B Earthworks will be completed this coming Earthworks season.


What’s happening right now

The MSE (mechanically stabilised earth) Wall has just now started being constructed at the Southern border.

The team confirm they are about to begin the water upgrade on Nanjing road, where the existing pipes will be removed and replaced.

Despite the extraordinary rainfall over November/ December – the Stockman team are hard at work and looking forward to a prosperous new year with exciting developments ahead.
