Myland Partners is a real estate investment and development
firm with a primary specialisation in the acquisition,
development and exit of land and multi-unit residential developments
within New Zealand. Myland’s Board of Directors encompasses
a wealth of experience through the disciplines of real estate
development, marketing, management and construction.

The Principal of Myland Partners is Farhad Moinfar,
accompanied by independent director Dene Biddlecombe.


Farhad Moinfar has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate in New Zealand and abroad. With a background in commercial real estate with CB Richard Ellis, one of the worlds largest Commercial Real Estate practices, he has been directly involved at a transactional level for many Institutional and Private investors throughout the region.

Farhad is based in Auckland, New Zealand.


Currently Chairman of NZAX listed Lateral Corporation and holding numerous governance roles, Dene is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand and a Chartered Member of the NZ Institute of Directors.
His governance and management experience spans both public and private, including roles as CEO of NZAX-listed Pulse Utilities and Horizon Energy Distribution – as well as CFO for NIWA, with responsibility for research and commerce in the USA. Dene has a MBA from Otago in Marketing and Corporate Strategy.

Dene is based in Auckland, New Zealand.


John’s passion is supporting actively growing businesses. In addition to core finance functions, John has been actively involved in NZAX listings and compliance, business acquisitions, commercialisation and the implementation of systems to support organisational growth. John’s industry experience includes utilities, information technology, science, research & development and pharmaceuticals. John is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.


Rupert Wilson joined the MyLand Partners Advisory Council in 2016 and brings a strong background of legal knowledge and governance experience. Through his 25-year career at Chapman Tripp Rupert was the Chairman for 3 years and a board member for 14 years. Through his career he has acquired expertise experience in many governance roles such as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New Zealand Government formed of Sir Edmund Hillary Trust. His key skills lie in legal, risk assurance, property and contract and senior employment management.
